Ugo Ugeh

New York Attorney

Mr. Ugeh is an experienced trial attorney with an encyclopedic knowledge of Immigration and Criminal law. His practice is defined by his aggressiveness and fearlessness in fighting for his clients, in court.

After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Ugeh worked as a defense attorney for a fast paced law firm in Queens, New York. There, he successfully handled criminal cases such as DWI cases, assault, sexual assault, robbery and domestic violence cases.

Mr. Ugeh has served as lead trial counsel in several important cases, including in a New York Criminal Trial representing an accused criminal defendant.  The defendant had been charged with a staggering 18 criminal counts, including 3 felonies. After a brutal, hard-fought trial, Mr. Ugeh was able to have two of the felonies Dismissed, and the jury found the Defendant Not Guilty of the third felony. The jury was deadlocked on the other counts, and the Defendant was only convicted of one misdemeanor (a relatively minor charge) and a violation (not a criminal charge).

Mr. Ugeh aggressively represents clients in New York courts. His caseload consists mainly of cases that can only be described as difficult.

Having spent the first sixteen years of his life in Nigeria, Mr. Ugeh understands the ordeals that all non-citizens go through in the United States. It is this shared understanding that helps Mr. Ugeh to fight for every one of his clients to ensure that they stay in the United States and that their rights are protected.
